Jana Basubas scored four times for Temescal Canyon, three on assists from Staci Nowak, and freshman Heidi Hauser added a score. Basubas has a team-leading 19 goals.

Temescal Canyon 2, Arrowhead Christian 0
Dominique Wilson scored unassisted in the 12th minute and Heidi Hauser sealed it in the 53rd minute on an assist from Kimberly Griswold for Temescal Canyon (8-3-1). Hauser now has nine goals this season.

Jana Basubas scored her team-high 15th goal in the first minute on an assist from Denise Cortez as Temescal Canyon upset previously unbeaten La Quinta (6-1-1).

Elizabeth Brezden scored for Canyon (7-1-3) in the 60th minute to tie the game at El Modena. Charney Burke scored in the 20th minute for Foothill (4-2-2).

Bonita 1, San Dimas 1 (Bonita wins on penalty kicks, 5-3)
Bonita got the the board first when Deborah Musa scored off an assist from Julia Franceschini. San Dimas knotted the contest with a goal by Ariel Shore.

El Toro 2, Mission Viejo 1
Jen Stoltenberg scored on an assist from Bri Lopez in the first half for El Toro (6-1-1) and added a penalty kick goal after being taken down in the box in the second half. Mission Viejo (4-3-4) is ranked eighth in Southern Section Division I.

Mater Dei 2, La Palma Kennedy 1
Liz Zadro and Jayden Barrett scored a goal apiece for Mater Dei (11-1-2), ranked fifth in Southern Section Division I. Kimberly Hargrove tallied the only goal for Kennedy (4-8-1).

Junior forward Susana Gomez of El Rancho (3-4-2) tied the game in the 60th minute with a breakaway goal at Bell Gardens.

Kelsey Morgan scored in the first half, and Tatiana Valentin scored in the second for host Corona Santiago (11-4-2. Emma Stevens had her ninth shutout of the season. Fullerton is now 8-3-1.

Kylie Landeros and Claire Luevanos scored for Glendora (5-3-3) and goalie Lauren Acosta made six saves in the shutout. Monrovia is 5-1-2.

Allison Moreno scored her first goal of the seaon in the 55th minute off a corner kick that was initially headed by Mary-Grace Schmidt to lead Mater Dei (9-1-2) past Los Alamitos (8-3-1). Mater Dei's goal keeper Darien Vercillo had four saves, while Los Alamitos' Tori Rocke had seven. The tournament MVP was defensive leader Brina Siddiq. Mater Dei's defense allowed one goal in the five games.

PREP LEAGUE

Chadwick 5, Flintridge Prep 1
Christen Press scored her 15th, 16th and 17th goals on the season to lead Chadwick to a 5-1 victory at Flintridge Prep. Channing Press and Ashley Nendick also scored for Chadwick. Flintridge Prep's Lauren VonDerAhe scored their lone goal in the 35th minute. Chadwick is 10-1-1 (4-0).

NONLEAGUE

Burbank 2, South Pasadena 0
Stephanie Alcaraz and Kristina Amela each scored for visiting Burbank (6-0-1). Amela has 18 goals this season. South Pasadena is 4-3.

Magnolia 5, Westminster 0
Sally Yunker, Christina Figueroa, Lindsay Wallace, Larissa Pedre and Sarah Winterburn each scored one goal for visiting Magnolia (6-3-1). Goalies Larissa Pedre and Sally Yunger combined for eight saves in the win.

Mater Dei 2, Mayfair 1
Mater Dei was led by goals from Nicole Depuy and Liz Zadro to defeat Mayfair 2-1. Mayfair took the lead in the first half with a goal by Jessika Oseguera. Mater Dei is now 10-1-2, while Mayfair falls to 3-2-1.

Cindy Paez scored two goals on passes from Daisy Granados for visiting Pomona (9-3).

Whittier Christian 3, Garden Grove 2
Whittier Christian (5-2) jumped out to a 3-0 lead with two goals scored by Kristin Pollard to lead the visiting Heralds.

Rachel Van Horn, Victoria Zabel and Micayla Mejia each scored a goal, Megan Scanlon had two assists and Van Horn added another for La Reina (4-2) against Charter Oak at Chino Hills. Lauren Garcia and Ashley McAlpin combined for six saves in the Regents' third shutout of the season.

Amanda Lisberger dribbled 70 yards to score the only goal unassisted in the 50th minute and Liza Bartman made five saves to record her fourth shutout for Brentwood (5-0-1). Head Coach David Foote earned his 100th victory at Brentwood.
