The Santa Monica Vikings defeated the Poway Titans in a thrilling 2-1 overtime victory that was broadcast live on KBCSports.com. 

Juan Magana scored the overtime goal for Santa Monica that gave the Vikings the Division 1 CIF Southern California Regional Soccer title.

This game was one of the more physical contests that was on display at Warren High School as 5 yellow cards were flashed during regulation (3 for Santa Monica, 2 for Poway). 

Ricardo Martinez scored the first goal of the game that gave The Vikings and early 1-0 lead.  Minutes later Gunner Emery scored a wonderful goal for Poway that tied the game at 1-1.

In overtime the Vikings showed why they were undefeated on the season as Juan Magana scored a huge goal that gave his team the victory and earned him KBCsports.com player of the game honors.
