Mira Costa defeated host El Segundo, 1-0, in a nonleague girls soccer match that featured two undefeated teams Thursday.

Kerry Bradley scored in the 65th minute off an assist from Lindsey Bullock in the 65th minute for Mira Costa (6-0-1).

"It was a great pass from Lindsey," Mira Costa coach Patty Perkinson said. "Kerry was just up top and powered it in. It was a great setup play."

Jaclyn Collins and Katelyn O'Banion combined for seven saves for Mira Costa.

Bronwyn O'Neill made seven saves for El Segundo (9-1-1).

"It's always big when we play South Bay teams," Perkinson said. "We came in just before we go to vacation, so it was a good way to have a good win to go on our vacation for Christmas break."
