ALPHA LEAGUE Campbell Hall 1, Downey Calvary Chapel 0 Alex van de Bunt scored on a header off a corner kick by Tye Whipple in the 78th minute for Campbell Hall (7-8-1, 1-2). Goalie Chase McKinzie made five saves to record his fifth shutout in six games. BAY LEAGUE West Torrance 3, Mira Costa 2 Leroy Tung scored the winning goal and Jaime Lara had a goal and an assist for host West Torrance (10-2-2, 2-0). Mira Costa fell to 1-1 in league. CAMINO REAL LEAGUE Bosco Tech 4, St. Paul 2 Ray Zalzueta scored off a Derek Gallo assist and Rory Mulcahey scored unassisted for St. Paul. EMPIRE LEAGUE Katella 0, La Palma Kennedy 0 GOLDEN LEAGUE Highland 0, Lancaster 0 LIBERTY LEAGUE Buckley 3, Oakwood 0 Thorir Fienberg, Michael Manella and Stephen Lewis scored to lead No. 6 Buckley (9-2-1, 5-0-0) past Oakwood (8-2-2), 4-2-1). Manella also had two assists. MARMONTE LEAGUE Calabasas 4, Westlake 2 Daniel Steres' two goals and an assist led host Calabasas (7-4-3, 4-2-0 in league) past Westlake. Harrison Doyle and Nati Schnitman also scored for Calabasas. MT. BALDY LEAGUE Don Lugo 2, Garey 1 Manny Plascencia and Chris Pena each scored a goal for Don Lugo. OMEGA LEAGUE Pilgrim 6, Cornerstone Christian 2 ORANGE LEAGUE Anaheim 1, Magnolia 1 Charlie Cedillo scored for host Anaheim (3-5-4, 0-1-1 league) and Michael Mora for Magnolia (4-6-1, 1-1) in a tie. PACIFIC LEAGUE Burbank Burroughs 3, Burbank 2 Andrew An scored in the final minute to give the Indians (12-5-1, 4-1-1) the home victory over Burbank (5-3-1, 2-3-0) PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE Laguna Beach 1, Santa Ana Calvary Chapel 1 Ian Greene, on an assist by Tim Fulton, gave Laguna Beach a 1-0 lead in the second half, but Calvary Chapel tied the game with five minuites remaining. PIONEER LEAGUE North Torrance 5, Compton Centennial 1 South Torrance 1, Lawndale 0 TRI-VALLEY LEAGUE Oak Park 1, St. Bonaventure 0 Alec Arsht scored on a header for Oak Park (6-6, 2-1). Tyler Dupont had the assist and Chris DeCar shut out St. Bonaventure (3-3-1 overall) with 10 saves. TRINITY LEAGUE Santa Margarita 3, Mater Dei 1 Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008 OLYMPIC LEAGUE Cerritos Valley Christian 2, Brentwood 1 James Kornfield scored for host Brentwood (3-6-1, 1-1). PREP LEAGUE Pasadena Poly 3, Chadwick 2 Adam Burpee scored three goals, Nick Ichien added two assists and Neil Child also had an assist for host Pasadena Poly. Nick Lebovitz had a goal and an assist and Arjun Reddy also scored for Chadwick. SAN ANTONIO LEAGUE Walnut 1, South Hills 1 David King scored and Cameron Stransky made five saves for Walnut. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008 ALPHA LEAGUE Campbell Hall 1, Whittier Christian 0 Alex van de Bunt put pressure on a Whittier Christian defender who kicked the ball into his own net for Campbell Hall (7-6-2, 2-0). Whittier Christian fell to 2-12-1, 0-1. CAMINO REAL LEAGUE St. Paul 3, Gardena Serra 0 GOLDEN LEAGUE Highland 5, Antelope Valley 0 David Salguero scored three goals and Andrew Woods and Rodrigo Rodriguez also score for Highland (4-5-1, 1-1). MARMONTE LEAGUE Calabasas 3, Moorpark 1 Daniel Steres, Nati Schnitman and Harrison Doyle each scored for Calabasas (6-4-3, 3-2). MISSION LEAGUE Harvard-Westlake 0, Crespi 0 Tim Allan had three saves for the Wolverines (10-3-3, 1-0-1). MOUNTAIN VIEW LEAGUE Norco 1, Corona Santiago 1 Oliver Lopez scored off an assist by Christian Robles in the 35th minute for host Norco (5-7-3, 0-0-1). Jose Rodriguez scored the tying goal on a 25-yard direct free kick in the 50th minute for Santiago (0-0-2 in league). Adam Zepeda made six saves for Norco. Nathan Fletcher made 10 saves for Santiago. MT. BALDY LEAGUE Montclair 3, Don Lugo 2 Martin Esqueda scored the winning goal in the 64th minute and goalie Jose Lopez made seven saves for visiting Montclair (15-3, 2-0). Goalie Jon Padilla made six saves for Don Lugo (2-8-1, 0-2). PACIFIC LEAGUE Burbank 1, Hoover 0 Burbank Burroughs 2, Arcadia 0 Pasadena 1, Glendale 0 SOUTH COAST LEAGUE Dana Hills 3, Capistrano Valley 1 Cody Woodhouse scored twice and Marco Macias added the other goal for Dana Hills (8-2-5, 1-0-0). TRINITY LEAGUE Mater Dei 4, San Juan Capistrano Serra 1 Chris Zamarripa scored two goals and Taylor Miller and Jeff Wiant each added a goal for host Mater Dei (12-4-1, 2-0). Lucas Dell-Orso scored to tie the game 1-1 in the 15th minute for Serra (6-4-3, 0-2). Santa Margarita 1, Servite 1 Mike Munoz scored his 11th goal of the season for host Santa Margarita (9-1-4, 0-0-1) in the second half of a game that featured playoff-like intensity from both teams. Servite (16-1-3, 1-0-1), ranked No. 1 in the CIF-SS Division I poll, finished the game with nine players. Santa Margarita, ranked No. 4, had one player ejected as well. The will meet again on Jan. 25 - and probably again after that in the playoffs. - Jaime Cardenas TRI-VALLEY LEAGUE Oak Park 2, Fillmore 1 Wesley Taylor scored his seventh goal of the season and Brett Zeolla also scored for Oak Park, which improved to 5-6 overall. Fillmore fell to 3-7-2 overall. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008 BAY LEAGUE Mira Costa 3, Leuzinger 1 Tobia Martens scored twice -- giving him three on the season -- and Garrett Grossman also scored for host Mira Costa (11-3-3, 1-0). Goalie Cody Strange made five saves in the win. Gyasi Zardes scored for Leuzinger (0-3-1, 0-1). CHRISTIAN LEAGUE Ontario Christian 3, Western Christian 3 Manuel Macias scored twice and Zach Oliver also scored for Ontario Christian (11-3-1, 0-0-1). COLISEUM LEAGUE Manual Arts 2, Locke 1 Harlen Castro scored both goals for host Manual Arts (5-2, 1-0). Locke fell to 0-1 in league. HARBOR LEAGUE New Community 6, Delphi Academy 1 Ryan Snyder had three goals and Jesse Fishman added two goals and two assists for New Community (6-0, 5-0). Andrew Davis scored for Delphi Academy (0-6, 0-2). LIBERTY LEAGUE Buckley 2, Viewpoint 0 Viewpoint scored an own-goal at the start of the second half and Scott Cohen added the lone goal for Buckley (4-0, 8-2-1), ranked No. 6 in Division VI, in the victory over the visiting Patriots (3-1), who lost in last year's CIF Finals. SAN ANTONIO LEAGUE West Covina 3, Rowland 1 Axell Rojas had a hat-trick, scoring two goals in the first half and the other in the 55th minute for West Covina (9-4-1, 1-0-0). Monday, Jan. 7, 2008 MARMONTE LEAGUE Calabasas 3, Thousand Oaks 2 Trent Clifton scored the eventual game-winning goal for Calabasas (5-4-3, 2-2-0) and added an assist in the victory over visiting Thousand Oaks. MISSION LEAGUE Harvard-Westlake 4, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 1 Stephen Jackson had two goals for Harvard-Westlake (10-3-2, 1-0). PACIFIC LEAGUE Burbank Burroughs 6, Crescenta Valley 0 Gilen Guenther had two goals and four assists for Burroughs (10-5-1, 2-1-1) against visiting Crescenta Valley (1-8, 1-3).
