Here are some of the results from the CIF Southern Section Division I thru V Womens Games played on February 16, 2007, as well as some of the CIF City Section Results from 2/16/2007:

(In the Womens' Division III, all ten top seeded teams won their games)

DIVISION III

First Round

Santa Monica 1, Flintridge Prep 0 (OT)
Daniela DaCosta scored on a deflection off a throw-in from Monica Mirch with three minutes left in the second half of overtime for third-seeded Santa Monica (22-1-3), which won its 14th consecutive game. Yale-bound senior goalie Ayana Sumiyasu made eight saves for visiting Flintridge Prep (12-10-3). Allison Bronstein made three saves for her 13th shutout of the season for Santa Monica.

Arroyo Grande 4, Culver City 0
Karlee Owens scored three straight goals and Julianne Alarcio added one goal and two assists for Arroyo Grande (17-6-1), which has not allowed a goal in four games. Goalie Jasmine Zamudio made 10 saves for visiting Culver City (7-10-3).

La Mirada 4, Beverly Hills 1
Freshman Natalia Ledezma scored twice and Kerry Klunder posted two assists for host La Mirada (12-8-2). Sharanda Wheeler scored the winning goal on a corner kick by Klunder in the first half and Katrina Gonzalez had the Matadores' first goal. Emily Litvak scored the game's first goal in the fourth minute for Beverly Hills (15-9-3) and goalie Becca Gold made 15 saves in the loss.

La Palma Kennedy 5, Colton 0
Sarah Larsen and Vanessa Lilii each had a goal and an assist for host Kennedy (12-10-3). Colton finished at 14-6.

Sunny Hills 4, Glenn 0
Tammy Taylor scored twice and Christine Hartman added a goal and an assist for top-seeded host Sunny Hills (21-1-5). Goalie Ilyanna Ari made four saves in the shutout. Glenn finished at 15-7-0.

Westridge 3, Hacienda Heights Wilson 2
Katie Davis scored twice and Michele Staphatos scored the game-winning goal in the 78th minute for host Westridge (11-2-5).

First Round

Aliso Niguel 2, Santa Margarita 1 (OT)
Haley Lawrence scored with three minutes remaining in the second sudden-death period to lift host Aliso Niguel (15-2-4) into the second round with a victory over Santa Margarita (12-4-7). Rachel Wood scored first for Aliso Niguel in the 60th minute, but Krissy Brandlin evened the score for Santa Margarita with a goal one minute later. Lexi Deol and Megan Sherman each had an assists for Aliso Niguel and teammate Amanda McNab made nine saves. Santa Margarita goalie Parris Wells also made nine saves. Aliso Niguel travels to Esperanza for Tuesday's second round.

Buena 4, West Torrance 1

El Toro 1, Lakewood 0
Bri Lopez scored off a pass from Jen Stoltenberg in the 30th minute for host El Toro (16-2-5), which recorded 27 shots on goal. Goalie Lauren Gregston made three saves in the shutout as Lakewood finished at 13-8-2.

Glendora 1, Harvard-Westlake 0
Gina Woodward scored in the first half on a pass from Kristi Nottingham for visiting Glendora (14-8-3) and goalie Lauren Acostamade made five saves in the win. Harvard-Westlake finished at 14-8-5.

Long Beach Wilson 1, Trabuco Hills 0
Krosby Pabst scored on a header off a corner kick by Haleygh Dunyon in the fifth minute for seventh-seeded Wilson (18-3-5). Marissa Robinson made five saves for visiting Trabuco Hills.

Mater Dei 6, Millikan 0
Lindsey Brown scored twice and Alyssa Oldham, Jackie Zinke, Liz Zadro and Megan Boland also scored for second-seeded host Mater Dei (19-1-3), which scored five second-half goals. Goalie Anna Rea made nine saves for Millikan (10-9-2).

Orange Lutheran 2, Northwood 1 (OT)
Tess Hall scored in the 117th minute and Amanda Lazcano scored in the first half for visiting Orange Lutheran (11-7-4). Northwood finished the season at 12-8-2.

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 2, Ventura 1 (2OT)
Ilsza Heredy scored the game-winner for Notre Dame six minutes into the second overtime period. Megan Urquizo had the Knights' first goal in the 25th minute.

Carly Clark scored five goals and Casey Flacks and Ashley Stratford tallied four goals and three assists apiece for second-seeded Agoura (23-6). The Chargers will play the winner of the Brea Olinda-Mission Viejo game on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.

Hart 4, Moorpark 2 (OT)
Aubrie Smith scored the winning goal on a deflection in the sixth minute of the first overtime and Allison Carivau added an insurance goal two minutes later for second-seeded Hart (23-3-1), which twice overcame one-goal deficits. Dominique Penaranda scored on a direct free kick in the 29th minute and on a header in the 68th minute for host Hart. Moorpark (7-5-8) scored in the 17th and 49th minutes.

Murrieta Valley 1, Rancho Verde 0
Katy Hall scored in the first half for host Murrieta Valley.

Redlands East Valley 4, Chaparral 2
Erin Rhodes and Briana Campos scored two goals apiece to lead Redlands East Valley (20-2-2) past visiting Chaparral (16-6-5).

Temecula Valley 3, Yucaipa 1
Melissa Bowlin had two assists for top-seeded Temecula Valley (20-0-5) after being out ill for one week. Yucaipa ends their season at 20-4-5.

Walnut 3, Burbank 1
Kristina Amela scored the lone goal for visiting Burbank (13-2-5), giving her 32 goals this season. Walnut improved to 19-5-1.

Crescenta Valley 3, West Covina 0

Kasey Johnson scored twice with the game-winning tally coming in the 78th minute for host La Salle (21-2-2), which outshot South Pasadena, 22-7. Aubree Gorman scored in the 31st minute for South Pasadena (10-9-6) and goalie Taylor Thurman made nine saves in the loss.

Lompoc Cabrillo 2, Saddleback 1
Samantha Marquez and Karissa Robertson each scored single goals to lead Lompoc Cabrillo (15-10-3) at Saddleback (8-7-3).

Oxnard 2, Santa Ynez 1
Aracely Ayala and Crisbel Tapia each scored one goal apiece in the first and 61st minute, respectively, for host Oxnard (14-5-2). Carissa Arce assisted both goals. Santa Ynez fell to 16-6-4.

Palm Desert 3, Monrovia 3 (Palm Desert wins on penalty kicks, 4-1
Morgan Lane, Kaysee Cooper and Emily Harvey each scored single goals for visiting Palm Desert (15-5-1). Hailey Russell, Katrina Herraeor, Cooper and Harvey each scored on penalty shots to give the Aztecs the win. Shannon Brooks scored three goals and goalie Brittany Alvarez made six second-half saves for host Monrovia (11-6-4).

Santa Maria St. Joseph 3, Magnolia 0
Tori Marchant, Rachel Hernandez and Andrea Zimkowski each scored for St. Joseph (16-9-1), which advanced past the first round for the first time in team history. Goalie Miranda Gaspar made four saves to post the team's 11th shutout. Magnolia finished at 18-5-1.

Woodcrest Christian 3, Alverno 1
Kayla Troesh scored three goals to lead Woodcrest Christian (18-8) at Alverno (7-10-1). Teammates Georgia Anagnof, Kayla Davis and Tiffany Aragon had one assist apiece in the win. Ameenah Issa scored the lone goal for the Jaguars.

Jasmine Fernandez scored both goals, including the game winner in the 52nd minute, and goalie Caitlin Scruggs made 16 saves for visiting North Torrance (15-8-3) in the upset. Second-seeded Marymount finished the season at 9-6-2.

Bell Gardens 1, Yucca Valley 0 (OT)
Evelyn Pedroza scored in the 96th minute off a corner kick in the second overtime for host Bell Gardens (17-3-3).

Big Bear 2, Gabrielino 0
Sidnee Rawlins scored twice, giving her 10 goals on the season, and goalie Sarah Harter made seven saves to post her 10th shutout for visiting Big Bear (18-7). Gabrielino ends the season at 10-5-3.

Cerritos Valley Christian 3, Mountain View 0
Ashley Haagsma, Sarah McTigue and Jacqueline Lara each scored a goal in the second half and Katherine Park assisted on all three for host Valley Christian (15-8-3). Goalie Jennifer Chairez made eight saves for Mountain View.

Marlborough 3, Oak Park 1
Liz Duval and Dominique Vellutato scored first-half goals and Julie Heidt added the final goal in the 85th minute for visiting Marlborough (12-5-2). Goalie Talia Bolnick made two saves in the win. Third-seeded Oak Park (15-5-3) scored on a penalty kick in the 84th minute.

Oaks Christian 3, Brentwood 2
Amanda Lisberger scored twice for host Brentwood (17-3-2).

Pomona 3, Montebello 0
Daisy Granados, Jennifer Moreira and Cindy Paez each scored for host Pomona (19-3-1) and goalie Jeanette Chamorro made six saves in the shutout. Montebello fell to 10-7-4.

Rancho Alamitos 1, Schurr 0
Candice Holt scored the game-winning goal in the 70th minute for host Rancho Alamitos (17-2-2). Schurr ends the season at 11-9-2.

South Torrance 4, Warren 0
Lauren Hein scored twice for host South Torrance (17-4-5). The Spartans will face Marlborough in the next round of the playoffs on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

Whittier Christian 3, Desert Hot Spings 2
Megan Jesolva scored two goals and one assists to lead Whittier Christian (18-5) past host Desert Hot Springs (15-5-1).

Noelle Patterson scored on a breakaway in the fourth minute for Bishop (20-3-0). Gigi Guzman made three saves for host St. Genevieve (12-3).

Laguna Blanca 6, Villa Nova Prep 3
Chrsitina Ashley scored two goals for host Villa Nova (16-6-3). Laguna Blanca improves to 10-3-2.

Lancaster Desert Christian 12, Milken 0
Robyn Estrada, Lexie Gliwa and Hannah Parcel each posted a hat trick for Lancaster Desert Christian (20-1-2).

Murrieta Calvary Chapel 3, Sage Hill 1
Whitney Booth had two goals and one assist and Amanda Lammers added a goal and an assist for host Calvary Chapel (17-5-4) against Sage Hill (12-8-2). Goalkeeper Alex Davis made four saves for Calvary Chapel.

Ontario Christian 4, Duarte 2
Trisha Arith scored twice and Jenna Gann added a goal and an assist for visiting Ontario Christian (17-6-4). Duarte finished the season at 15-9-1.

Pasadena Marshall 5, Sierra Vista 1
Kim Amaya had two goals and an assist and Blanca Rodriguez, Isabel Benitez and Marisella Angel also scored for host Marshall (14-4). Goalie Yanet Delgado made four saves in the win. Vanessa Carlos scored for Sierra Vista (12-11-3).

St. Margaret's 4, Carpinteria 0
Jessica Zavalza and Alex Dreyer each scored twice for second-seeded host St. Margaret's (18-3-1) and goalie Valerie Gilmore made two saves for her seventh shutout. Carpinteria ends the season at 10-11-1.

Harley Joffe scored three goals, Samantha Tellez added one goal and one assists to lead third-seeded View Point (17-3-2) past visiting Rosamond (11-10-3).

Michelle Bigony scored off a corner kick with five minutes left in the second overtime for Flintridge Prep. Lauren Von Der Ahe scored to tie the game in the 65th minute for host Flintridge Prep (12-9-3). Righetti, which scored in the 10th minute, finished 11-11-3.

Fullerton 7, Bellflower 1
Fullerton (10-8-1) will play Empire League champion Cypress (14-4-1) in the first round Saturday. Bellflower finished at 10-11.

DIVISION IV

Apple Valley 3, Barstow 1
Apple Valley (9-9-4) will play top-seeded La Serna (21-1-2) in the first round on Friday. Barstow ends the season at 6-19.

Lakewood St. Joseph 1, El Rancho 0
Lilly Flores scored in the 53rd minute for visiting St. Joseph (14-7-3), which will play fourth-seeded Paloma Valley (15-3-3) in the first round Friday. El Rancho finished the season at 7-13-4.

Santa Maria St. Joseph 2, Rio Mesa 1
Lynae Cassidy scored the winning goal in the 78th minute for St. Joseph (15-9-1). Kelsey Dunn scored off a direct free kick in the 22nd minute for St. Joseph. Host Rio Mesa (11-7-6) scored in the 20th minute.

Sarah Brown-Campello scored in the 37th minuite on an assist from C.C. Hayne as Thacher (3-3-5) advances to Friday's opening round against Fillmore. Anne Turner posted nine saves in getting the shutout. Frazier Mountain concludes its season 16-7-3.

Christina Atchley had three goals and an assist and goalie Niamh Daly made six saves in the shutout for host Villanova Prep (16-5-3), which will play at Laguna Blanca (9-3-2) in the first round Friday. La Puente finished at 5-13.

Junior Megan Quinn scored twice for host El Camino Real (16-4-2).

Fairfax 2, South Gate 1
Sarah Adame and Debra Zepeda each scored one goal in the 30th minute and 75th minute, respectively, for 23rd-seeded Fairfax (8-2-3), upsetting 10th-seeded host South Gate.

Mayra Garcia, Xochitl Salgado and Lucero Estrada each scored for third-seeded host Locke (18-4). Goalie Evelyn Donato made five saves for her 10th shutout of the season.
