  SEASON COMPLETE. Southern California Regional Division I champion. CIF-Southern Section Division IV champion. Juan Magana scored in overtime to lift Santa Monica past Poway 2-1 in the SCR final. Santa Monica can make an argument for a national No. 1 ranking given victories over Central Coast champ Bellarmine Prep, San Diego champ Poway and Southern Section Division I runner-up Newbury Park.
2 Bellarmine Prep San Jose CA 26-1-2 2
  SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Central Coast Section Division I champion. Bellarmine won its 13th section title in a year where it set a section record with 26 wins. The team's lone setback is to No. 2 Santa Monica. The Bells put on a show in the last two rounds, defeating Alisal and Overfelt by 5-0 margins. In seven postseason matches, Bellarmine outscored its opponents 24-2.
3 Santa Margarita Rancho Santa Margarita CA 25-2-4 3
  SEASON COMPLETE. Southern California Regional Division II champion. CIF-Southern Section Division I champion. Santa Margarita edged Cathedral Catholic to claim the SCR title and lock down a lofty national ranking. Among the team's key victories were wins over Newbury Park, Quartz Hill and Mater Dei.

  SEASON COMPLETE. Southern California Regional Division I runner-up. CIF-San Diego Section Division I champion. Poway pushed region No. 1 Santa Monica to OT before falling in the SCR final.
5 Pittsburg Pittsburg CA 22-1-4 6
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-North Coast Section Class 3A champion. Pittsburg made up for a regular-season loss to Amador Valley by defeating the Dons 1-0 in the section final. Rafael Morales scored the game-winner.
6 Brophy Prep Phoenix AZ 22-2-1 7
SEASON COMPLETE. Class 5A Division I state champion. Brophy defeated Desert Vista in the state final after Desert Vista upset favored Highland in the semifinals. During the regular season, Brophy Prep traveled to the California Cup where it went 1-1-1, tying Santa Margarita (Calif.) but losing to an unranked team.
7 Cathedral Catholic San Diego CA 26-3-2 5
SEASON COMPLETE. Southern California Regional Division II runner-up. CIF-San Diego Section Division III champion. Cathedral Catholic's stellar postseason run ended with a 1-0 loss to defensive-minded Santa Margarita in the SCR final.
8 Newbury Park Newbury Park CA 16-6-3 8
  SEASON COMPLETE. Southern California Regional Division I quarterfinalist. CIF-Southern Section Division I runner-up. Newbury Park lost to Santa Monica 1-0 in the SCR a week after falling to Santa Margarita 1-0 in the section final. Newbury made a major jump in the FAB 50 following wins over Los Alamitos and San Clemente.
9 Amador Valley Pleasanton CA 19-4-4 9
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-North Coast Section Class 3A runner-up. Amador Valley, the EBAL champ, lost to Pittsburg 1-0 in the section final. Amador Valley handed Pitsburg its only regular-season loss in December.
10 Los Alamitos Los Alamitos CA 23-5-3 10
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section Division I semifinalist. Los Al lost to Newbury 1-0 in the section semifinals. During the regular season, Los Al posted a win over San Clemente, and in the playoffs this southern Cal program knocked off Chino Hills and Millikan.
11 Mater Dei Santa Ana CA 18-6-4 11
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section Division I semifinalist. Mater Dei lost to league rival and eventual section champ Santa Margarita in the section semifinals. The match marked the last for Martin Stringer, who stepped down as coach and AD at the school. During the regular season, Mater Dei split with West-ranked Servite before getting hot in the playoffs.
12 La Habra La Habra CA 25-3-2 12
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section Division III champion. La Habra, after winning the section crown, turned down a spot in the Southern California Regional tournament. En route to the title, La Habra defeated Saddleback.
13 Saddleback Santa Ana CA 25-4-1 13
SEASON COMPLETE. Southern California Regional Division I quarterfinalist. CIF-Southern Section Division III runner-up. Saddleback pushed Poway to PKs before falling in the SCR.
14 Banning Wilmington CA 20-3-1 16
  SEASON COMPLETE. Southern California Regional Division I semifinalist. CIF-Los Angeles Section champion. The LA champs knocked off Clovis West in the quarterfinals before losing to Santa Monica 3-1 in the semifinals of the SCR.
15 Clovis West Fresno CA 16-5-4 14
SEASON COMPLETE. Southern California Regional Division I quarterfinalist. CIF-Central Section champion. Clovis West defeated Bullard for its third straight section title, then fell to to Banning in the quarterfinals of the SCR.
16 Bullard Fresno CA 27-2-3 15
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Central Section runner-up. Favored Bullard fell to Clovis West 1-0 in overtime in the section final. The teams split their meetings with Bulard winning in December.
17 Millikan Long Beach CA 22-3-3 17
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section quarterfinalist. Millikan's season ended with a loss to Los Alamitos in the playoffs. During the regular season, Millikan took a loss to Saddleback.
18 Alisal Salinas CA 16-2-5 18
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Central Coast Section Division I semifinalist. Alisal's strong postseason run was ended with a 5-0 loss to Bellarmine College Prep.
19 Kamehameha School Honolulu HI 12-2-2 19
SEASON COMPLETE. Hawaii Division I state champion. Kamehameha's victory over league rival Iolani gave the school a sweep of the boys and girls crowns.
20 Iolani Honolulu HI 12-2-2 20
SEASON COMPLETE. Hawaii Division I runner-up. After tying Kamehameha in their last regular-season match, the teams went to PKs in the state final with Iolani coming out on the short end.
21 Cabrillo Long Beach CA 23-4-2 21
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section quarterfinalist. The Long Beach teams, Millikan and Cabrillo, took an earlier-than-expected exit from the section playoffs. Cabrillo's season ended with a 3-1 loss to Mater Dei.
22 William C Overfelt San Jose CA 18-4-1 22
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Central Coast Section Division I runner-up. Overfelt started its postseason run over Watsonville and then defeated Gilroy before bowing to Bellarmine College Prep in the semifinals.
23 San Ramon Valley Danville CA 14-5-7 23
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-North Coast Section Class 3A semifinalist. SRV lost to Pittsburg 1-0 in the semifinals after taking out perennial section power De La Salle.
24 Gilroy Gilroy CA 15-5-6 24
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Central Coast quarterfinalist. Gilroy, which had a regular-season win over Watsonville, lost to Overfelt in the playoffs.
25 Watsonville Watsonville CA 18-4-3 25
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-CCS first-round exit. Watsonville lost to Overfelt in the playoffs. During the regular season, Watsonville tied De La Salle and split with Pajaro Valley, winning the most recent meeting.
26 Pajaro Valley Watsonville CA 22-2-2 26
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Central Coast Section Division II champion. Pajaro Valley claimed its first section title, but its bid to be included in Division I was denied. The team's strong season included a split of matches with Watsonville, losing the late-season encounter.
27 De La Salle Concord CA 14-3-8 27
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-North Coast Section quarterfinalist. De La Salle's season ended with a loss to San Ramon Valley. During the regular season, the Spartans had draws with Watsonville and Santa Margarita.

SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section Division I quarterfinalist. Quartz Hill pushed top-seeded Santa Margarita before falling 1-0 in the playoffs.

SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-San Diego Section Division I runner-up. San Diego's season was brought to an end with an overtime loss to Powa in the section final. The team did not receive an at-large bid to the Southern California boys soccer championships.

SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Los Angeles Section third-place finisher. Bell pushed top-seeded Banning to overtime before falling 5-3 in the section semifinals. Bell defeated Taft in the consolation match to secure third place.
31 El Camino Real Woodland Hills CA 16-4-7 31
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Los Angeles Section runner-up. El Camino Real lost to Banning in the final. During the regular season, El Camino Real traveled to Hawaii where it won a tournament that included a win over Mililani.
32 Mililani Mililani HI 15-2-1 32
SEASON COMPLETE. Hawaii Division I third-place finisher. Mililani's bid for a state crown ended with a semifinal loss to Iolani, but the team bounced back to win the consolation match to secure third place.
33 Pinnacle Phoenix AZ 21-3-0 33
SEASON COMPLETE. Class 5A Division II state champion. Led by high-scoring Kyle Ciliento, Pinnacle claimed the state title over Rincon/University.
34 Desert Vista Phoenix AZ 15-8-2 34
SEASON COMPLETE. Class 5A Division I runner-up. Desert Vista's season ended with a loss to Brophy Prep in the state final.
35 Chino Hills Chino Hills CA 20-2-4 35
SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section Division I second-round finisher. Chino Hill's season ended with a loss to Los Alamitos.

SEASON COMPLETE. Class 5A Division I semifinalist. Highland's season ended with a loss to eventual state runner-up Desert Vista.

SEASON COMPLETE. Class 4A Division I state champion. Catalina Foothills defeated Millenium after Millenium knocked off Canyon del Oro. During the regular season, Foothill lost to Highland.

SEASON COMPLETE. San Dieguito Academy had to forfeit an undefeated season for using an ineligible player.

SEASON COMPLETE. Southern California Regional Division I quarterfinalist. CIF-Central Section Division II champion. Roosevelt surprised Southern Section Division II champ Peninsula in the quarterfinals before getting shutout by Poway in the semifinals.

  SEASON COMPLETE. Southern California Regional Division I quarterfinalist. CIF-Southern Section Division II champion. Peninsula was bounced from the SCR by Roosevelt.

SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section Division II semifinalist. Ventura was upset by Peninsula in the playoffs. Ventura finished second to Santa Barbara in league pay, but a strong playoff run justifies a slightly higher regional ranking.

SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section quarterfinalist. San Clemente's postseason run, which included a win over Servite, ended with a loss to Newbury Park.

SEASON COMPLETE. Class 4A Division I state runner-up. Millennium upset Canyon del Oro in the state semifinals before falling to Catalina Foothills in the final.
44 Canyon Del Oro Oro Valley AZ 18-3-1 43
SEASON COMPLETE. Class 4A-I semifinalist. Canyon del Oro was upset by Millennium in the Class 4A Division I semifinals. During the regular season, Canyon del Oro pinned a loss on Servite (Calif.).
45 Servite Anaheim CA 22-5-4 44
  SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section Division I second-round finisher. Servite, which spent time in the FAB 50 Top 10, was ousted in the playoffs by San Clemente. During the season, Servite lost to Canyon del Oro (Ariz.).
46 Salesian Los Angeles CA 21-1-0 46
SEASON COMPLETE. Southern California Regional Division III champion. CIF-Southern Section Division V runner-up. Salesian, stunned in the section final by Oaks Christian, gained some measure of revenge by defeating Avenal 3-0 in the SCR final. Avenal had knocked Oaks Christian out of the SCR in the quarterfinals.

SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section Division III semifinalist. After upsetting Santa Ana, El Rancho's playoff run was ended with a loss to La Habra. During the regular season, La Habra lost to Division V runner-up Salesian.

SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-Southern Section Division III quarterfinalist. Santa Ana's season ended wih an upset loss to El Rancho.

SEASON COMPLETE. CIF-San Diego Section Division III runner-up. Southwest lost to Cathedral Catholic 3-1 in the final.
